Barrel Aged Maple Brown
Based on our Zombeez brown ale, this Maple Brown is infused with local honey, then aged for a couple of months in whiskey barrels, which previously housed golden maple syrup. A whiskey-note aroma with a tart, sour mash-like flavor from the barrels. Light, lively body with a semi-dry lemon-tart finish.
If you like that mild whiskey aroma and a tart flavor, you will appreciate this ale. Barrel-aged in used spirit barrels that also housed maple syrup, this ale is light, clean, and tart. Medium to higher alcohol, light body and low carbonation.
